I’m Orvar Lindsten, a designer based in Stockholm, Sweden.

I studied Interior Architecture and Design at LISAA (L'institut superieur des arts appliques) in Paris, where I developed an interest in the relationship between objects, spaces, materials and the people who experience them.

Since graduating, I’ve worked with furniture and spatial design, 3D visualisation, exhibitions and creative production. I’ve interned at Massproductions and Layered, and worked at Uppsala Auktionskammare, where I’ve had the opportunity to work with everything from early ideas and concepts to visualisation, making and physical execution.

I’m interested in creative work that moves between disciplines. I like developing ideas, making things, working with materials and finding different ways of communicating an idea.

Outside of design, music is a huge part of my life. I listen every day, go to concerts and spend a lot of time discovering new artists and sounds.

I’m also interested in art, photography, film, fashion and skateboarding. I like making things by hand, collecting references and generally keeping my eyes open for things that catch my attention.

I’m always interested in meeting people, collaborating on new projects and seeing where things can lead.

I can work in Blender, Rhino, AutoCAD, SolidWorks and the Adobe Suite.
